OMR Globus is a market research company providing online and offline interviewing for small, medium and large Market Research agencies around the world. OMR Globus is an affiliate of Universal Survey Center, Inc., d/b/a OpinionSite ("OpinionSite"). By using or accessing the Site and participating in the OMR Globus community, you agree to the collection and use of your information by us in accordance with this Notice, the OpinionSite Privacy Notice and the OpinionSite Terms & Conditions and agree to accept the terms of these notices.


OMR Globus (“we,” “our,” “us”) recognizes that you care how information about you is collected and used. OMR Globus has created this privacy notice to inform you of our practices regarding collection, use, and sharing of information. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how it will be treated.


OMR Globus supports and strictly adheres to the standards and guidelines set out by local and international market research organizations


OMR Globus only collects personal information directly from panelists who have decided to give certain information to become a panel member. OMR Globus panelists join voluntarily to share their experience and opinions regarding products and services. OMR Globus helps to make this process possible. To conduct surveys with panelists, OMR Globus sends email invitations clearly stating the purpose of the contact, an option to decline the invitation and a further option to terminate their membership. We only use the panelist’s personal data for the following purposes:

1. To invite the panelist to participate in market research through a questionnaire
2. To complete survey profiles to obtain further information
3. To respond to a panelist support issue
4. To validate responses that a panelist has given to a survey
5. To update the panelist’s personal information

In addition to the above, you further acknowledge and accept that OMR Globus may share your personal information and social-demographic information, including, without limitation, physical work address, medical specialty and medical qualifications with third party sample/market research companies (individually each a “Third Party MR Company” and collectively the “Third Party MR Companies”) for the following processing activities of the Third Party MR Companies:
1. Identifying client survey opportunities that you may be eligible for through the Third-Party MR Companies; and
2. Disclosing such data elements to clients of the Third-Party MR Companies for audience measurement services; and
3. Appending such data elements to completed client surveys and delivering the appended survey data to clients of the Third-Party MR Company(ies) for the clients’ analytical or research purposes; and
4. Validating your data and information against third party databases and other information available to the Third-Party MR Companies, which shall require the Third-Party MR Companies to share your data with various third-party data or information companies (e.g. data brokers, etc.).

If you are eligible for a client survey opportunity, the Third-Party MR Company will provide your panel member number and a survey link to OMR Globus and OMR Globus will invite you by email to complete the client survey. The Third-Party MR Companies will share certain information back to OMR Globus to enable OMR Globus to provide you with your honorarium, reward or incentive for completing a survey or surveys, for which OMR Globus is solely liable and responsible.

Aggregate Data
We aggregate data from registered and unregistered users for use in Service funding, analysis, development and delivery. Aggregate usage information provided to third parties or used to deliver services to third parties allows us to keep our services free to users. Aggregated information is pooled from many individual records and stripped of any data that could be used to identify an individual. Information collected in the registration process is never shared with third parties in a personally identifiable way, except as identified in this Privacy Notice.

Third Parties
In addition to aggregate information, we may share some kinds of personally identifiable information with third parties as described below.

Market Research Studies
From time to time, we may invite you via e-mail to participate in sponsored or unsponsored market research studies. When you agree to participate in a study, you agree to share with OMR Globus personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, zip code and professional information. Generally, these studies provide specific feedback using aggregated, de-identified data to third parties used to analyze trends and statistics for medical marketing, research, and development purposes, and neither your identity nor your specific feedback is shared with third parties. However, under the following circumstances, your identity may be shared with third parties and/or associated with specific feedback: (i) when we have your consent, (ii) when we match user information with such third party’s data, and (iii)when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. In all circumstances, the privacy of our panel members is protected, and if such sharing is permitted or required, your answers and identity will remain confidential.
In connection with the sharing of your information with a Third-Party MR Company, your information may be transferred, exported, and stored outside of your country of residence, including, without limitation, to and in the United States, and by agreeing to this privacy notice you are agreeing to the processing and exportation of your personal information as set forth in this Section. On occasions, OMR Globus may contact a panelist for other reasons such as:

1. To obtain information regarding the payment of a reward for survey participation
2. To ask a panel member for his/her permission to use their personal information for any other purpose than previously notified at the time they entered their personal information

When a panelist participates in any of our surveys, they may be asked for their personal opinions, as well as demographic information, such as their age and gender and type of household. A panelist may refuse to answer certain questions or discontinue participation in a study at any time. A panelist may terminate their membership at any time by sending an email to

OMR Globus takes precautions to protect data and information under our control from misuse, loss or alteration. Our security measures include industry-standard technology and equipment to help protect your information, and we maintain security measures to allow only the appropriate personnel access to your information. Unfortunately, no system can ensure complete security, and OMR Globus disclaims any liability resulting from use of the Site. All information you have provided is stored on secure servers in the UK. OMR Globus may from time to time need to transfer/export your data to countries outside the UK, such as but not limited to EU, other European countries, Canada, USA. The servers use state of the art security and are kept up to date with the latest patches. All administrative access to the servers is protected by SSH encryption. The servers are protected by an Ultra-vault firewall. HTTP access is projected by TLS 1.2. It is encrypted and authenticated via AES_128_GCM. Certificate is issued by ALPHA SSL.

Honorarium/Incentive Payment: In order to pay honorarium/incentives to panel members, it will be necessary to send personal information such as name and email address to suppliers such as, but not limited to Amazon and pre-paid card providers.

Survey Responses: Your responses to survey questions are anonymous and responses cannot be identified with you personally. Responses you give to surveys may be added to your personal information in order to allow OMR Globus to select the most appropriate panelists to invite to individual surveys however this information also remains completely confidential.

Sale or transfer of Business: We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of our business or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

Legal: OMR Globus may provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law. We may also disclose personal information to assist us in collecting a debt owed by you, or otherwise where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Data retention:

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active and for twenty-four (24) months thereafter to allow you to re-activate your account without loss of data.

Survey Data:
This applies to all electronic survey data collected by our fielding operations, including data stored on third-party survey systems. Retention times will be limited to 5 years at which time disposal will be completed in a secure manner that protects confidential information. We will also retain your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. We will also retain your information for as long as is permitted under applicable law.


Use of cookies: Cookies are small text files stored on a computer by a website that assigns a numerical user ID and stores certain information about a persons’ online browsing. OMR Globus may use cookies to help us provide panelists with a better experience and to provide quality control and validation functions. No personal information is stored on any cookie that OMR Globus uses.

IP address: When you use a Site, we gather information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and security purposes. We use IP addresses for diagnostic and statistical purposes and to administer the Site as well.
Additionally, solely in connection with your voluntary participation in a market research study or screening, your computer may (i) be tracked by digital fingerprinting or watermarking to help ensure unique responders to a survey, and (ii) accessed to assess browser compatibility and/or video cam usability.


We have designated the Privacy Department to oversee its information security program, including its compliance with the Privacy Shield program. Your account information and profile are password-protected so that you and only you have access to this personal information.

We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. OMR Globus will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. Also remember to sign out of your panel account and close your browser when you have finished your work. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place such as a library or hotel.


OMR Globus is committed to protecting the online privacy of children and encourages parents and/or guardians to spend time online with their children to participate and monitor their internet activities. OMR Globus will never process personal data of children without parental consent and OMRG complies with applicable Laws and Codes pertaining to the protection of Children's privacy, including without limitation the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (for US panelists), the European Union Data Directive (95/46/EC) (for panelists within the EU) where applicable and all relevant international and country specific laws.

For online research conducted globally, OMR Globus complies with all applicable international and country specific laws regarding obtaining consent from parents/guardians for a child's participation in such research. Parents or guardians are encouraged to contact OMR Globus to discuss the personal information collected from their child or children.


Right to Access, Rectification and Erasure.

Members (Data Subjects) have the right to obtain confirmation about whether Personal Data is included about them in our databases. Upon request, OMR Globus will provide an individual access to his or her Personal Data within the timeframe dictated by the applicable data protection regulation.

OMR Globus will permit an individual to know what Personal Data about them is included in our databases and to ensure that such Personal Data is accurate and relevant for the purposes for which OMR Globus collected the Personal Data.

Members may review their own Personal Data stored in the databases and correct, update, modify, or delete any data that is incorrect or incomplete.

Your right to access your Personal Data may be restricted in exceptional circumstances, including, but not limited to, when the burden or expense of providing this access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy in the case in question, or where the rights of persons other than you would be violated by the provision of such access. If we determine that your access should be restricted in a particular instance, we will provide you with an explanation of our determination and respond to any inquiries you may have.

Members may access and modify their Personal Data by logging into their account profile or by contacting OMR Globus by phone or email. In making modifications to their Personal Data, Data Subjects must provide only truthful, complete, and accurate information. Requests for Personal Data

Right to Withdraw Consent
